Kelly Meador is a hands-on commercial director and designer who's work is a hybrid of live action and mixed media.

With a BFA in graphic design from the University of Tennessee, it was there she built the foundation to her hybrid approach to motion design combining photography, printmaking, filmmaking, and typography. In addition, she draws from early work experience in a variety of design disciplines ranging from traditional print to interactive design and programming.

Following college, Kelly worked with Nike for eight years during which time she was responsible for designing, directing, and animating a variety of domestic and international content for traditional spots, large custom environments, multiple screens, and interactive films. These projects were seen the world over in NikeTowns, FIFA World Cup venues, and The Olympics.

Kelly teamed with her husband Daniel in 2004 and the two of them began directing and creating content under the alias Impactist. As Impactist, her work has screened throughout the world at numerous festivals, including Resfest and OneDotZero, and has appeared during the Super Bowl, as AdCritic's "Spot of the Day", and in such publications as IdN and Stash. Additionally, she was featured in Shots 2007 New Directors Reel and as one of RES Magazine: 10 creators to watch in 2006.

Kelly's keen eye for type, color, composition, and editorial have led her to develop and pitch with a variety of domestic and international advertising agencies for brands like McDonald's, Westin, Emirates Airlines, Nortel, Tylenol, Panasonic, Ikea, MasterCard, Peace Corps, Beringer Vineyards, and Freixenet.
